Lubrication Management
A large percentage of unplanned machine downtime is a direct result of bearing failures. Where manual lubrication is carried out, the question is whether bearings get too much or too little lubricant. Too much results in high wastage costs and opening up the bearing to the elements, too little, early bearing failure. What about lubrication points near moving parts?

Manually means machine shutdown so as not to cause injury, therefore lost time. Proper lubrication is essential for effective preventative maintenance. A common misconception in industry today is that a generous application of lubricant is sufficient.
Technological advancements have shown that the application of small amounts of lubricant more frequently result in greater bearing life, thus creating greater productivity, reduced downtime, lower product rejection, and less lubricant consumed.
Such frequent and controlled amounts can only be applied by using manual or automatic centralised lubrication. Quality lubrication management ensures correct lubrication to all lube points. Poor hose or cable management on reciprocating or moving machinery can result in premature rupture of hoses or cables, electrically shorting through wear, abrasion, kinking, being caught in machinery or passing traffic. Irrespective, the result is the same, increased maintenance costs through machine unplanned downtime, cost of repair, and consequential damage or personal injury. Hoses and cables lying around shop floors or hanging from ceilings are potential problems not only affecting maintenance costs but also creating a potentially unsafe operating area.
Correct hose or cable management not only extends the life of the hose or cable, but ensures the OH&S requirements are met. |

Fastfill - Diesel/Fluid Handling Systems
A single diesel fuel tank can hold thousands of litres of diesel….certainly enough volume to know that any subsequent loss is an all-too-often expensive, time consuming and environmentally damaging problem for any refuelling operation. Added to this are the ever present concerns over the potential for loss of diesel fuel through misuse or theft and the effect of contamination through ingress in the fuel line. The Fast Fill Systems range of diesel and fluid handling products available through A.D. Automation now offers a number of solutions to these refuelling problems through its extensive range of nozzles, receivers, caps and valves.

Gravity Feed Oilers work in a wide range of industrial lubricating applications. The heavy wall acrylic reservoirs have a ribbed design to resist shock and vibration in harsh environments. Adjustable drip rates are easily and quickly set and controlled with either a lock ring, ratchet or friction screw for maximum versatility.
The Opto-matic closed system oiler maintains a constant level of oil in bearing housings and other wet sump applications. The adjustable collar allows the oil level to be adjusted to the desired level for most types of rotating equipment. A 1/8" NPT port is provided for a vent line back to the bearing housing to allow pressure balancing between the oiler and the housing.

| The full flow dispensers are used to lubricate bearings, chains, and other machinery parts when feed rate adjustment is desired at the dispenser. This allows for easy adjustment when the manifold or lubrication point is located ina difficult to reach spot. With up to 6 outlets, these dispensers are also used in applications where multiple point lubrication is required from one reservoir of oil. |
